Chanel’s Spring 2015 Makeup Collection

Chanel’s Reverie Parisienne Spring 2015 collection bring a little feeling of spring to girl’s makeup bag. The color collection, which is inspired by Pairs’ gardens in the spring, features bright lipsticks, new blush and eyeshadow palette, and a trio of highly limited-edition nail polishes.

Chanel Jardin de Chanel Blush Camelia Rose ($55.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “duo of pinks.” It’s a light-medium, muted pink with subtle, neutral-to-warm undertones and a semi-matte finish.

Chanel managed to find a way to work with powder like as if it is a piece of paper. The design is suggestive of a pressed powder which is then glued on a surface before the next layer is pressed.  it must be an expensive process since the blush contains only 3 g of products, half of usual powder Joues Contrastes (6 g) and it costs around 25% more.
The first reaction when I opened the compact,  it is so tiny. BUT how pretty flowers! I started to enjoy the pattern.

Other products in the range include Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Quad in Tisse Paris, including two pinky shades, one frosty white and one granite, I was surprised to find out they were both pink-themed as expected,  also quite smokey.607197-shopping

One being the Rouge Allure Velvet in La Romanesque, a cool toned matte pink. It’s a gorgeous colour and somehow gets the middle ground between bold yet not intense. It’s beautiful!  lightweight, hydrating, sheer.
